DAY 13:  LLandrindod Wells to Bristol

Douglas and I started the day early.  We popped out of bed and made a bee-line for the hotel spa.  We had time for a quick dip in the pool, a soak in Jacuzzi, and a short bake in the dry and then wet sauna.  What a great way to start the day.  As usual, we arrived for the meal a little late.  We're just trying to "pack full" every minute!

We had a buffet style breakfast with all of the now familiar variety.  After breakfast we boarded our coach on an overcast and drizzly day.  Oh, to be in England now that rain is here!  We had a long morning drive through Wales, past the Black Mountains and lush green valleys.  The gentle rain fell most of the morning.

After dinner I strolled a short ways through town, talking with a few locals and taking in the sights.  Once again tonight I'm taking it easy while Douglas decided to head back over to the pubs to see what we hear are very good jazz bands.  I would go, but tonight I need sleep more than excitement.  (Besides, I'm not that crazy about jazz!)

Tomorrow we're off for the west coast area and will end up in Plymouth for a couple of days.  Talk to you soon!
